Apple Standard EULA
Your use of Daybreak is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. The disclosures below explain Daybreak's service and subscriptions and do not replace that agreement.
The service
Daybreak is a self-managed device tool that uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Screen Time authorization is required for blocking features. You are responsible for choosing and maintaining your settings and for keeping your device and iOS software in a condition where those frameworks can operate.
Subscriptions
Daybreak offers auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions. Prices and any introductory offer are shown by the App Store before purchase. The yearly plan may include a three-day free trial for customers Apple determines are eligible. Apple controls eligibility and the trial period.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Billing, refunds, regional pricing, taxes, subscription management, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and policies.
Limits of the service
No content filter can guarantee that every route to unwanted material will be blocked. Daybreak depends on Apple's Screen Time frameworks, authorization state, device settings, and platform behavior. Features may be interrupted if permission is removed, iOS changes, a schedule cannot be registered, or the app is removed.
Daybreak is a support for a personal decision. It is not medical care, therapy, emergency assistance, or a guarantee of behavior or outcome.
Deletion lock
If you enable deletion lock during active protection, Daybreak uses the iOS deny-app-removal restriction. That restriction is device-wide and may prevent deletion of any app, not only Daybreak. It is off by default.
Acceptable use
You may use Daybreak to manage your own device. You may not use it to monitor another adult, conduct third-party surveillance, violate another person's privacy, interfere with a device you are not authorized to manage, or use the app unlawfully.
